LMJ jewelry is available in:

We use only high-quality materials to ensure that your new jewelry will accompany you for many years. Here are a few useful tips on how to care for your jewelry, preserving its beauty, shine and durability. 

STERLING SILVER AND GOLD PLATED SILVER
- Avoid using water or chemicals to clean your jewelry. Instead, use a soft, nonabrasive cloth with a drop of natural oil.
- Wear your sterling silver jewelry regularly. If not worn for a long time, silver can tarnish. If tarnishing is very severe, you can rub the piece with a drop of dish soap or nonabrasive toothpaste and then rinse with water
- Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions or any chemical cosmetics.
- Remove jewelry before bathing, swimming, saunas or sulfur baths. Avoid contact with chlorine, sand and salt water to prevent tarnishing.
- Remove jewelry before doing any exercise and before sleeping to avoid accidental damage.
- Store the jewelry away from any exposure to sunlight or extreme temperatures, ideally in a padded jewelry box or tarnish-resistant bag. You can also keep these in individual airtight plastic (polyethylene) bags. Avoid keeping it in a bathroom or any humid locations!
- Avoid packing two pieces of jewelry together as it can cause scratches and damage. 

If you think your gold plated jewelry needs a refresh, please contact us so we can re-plate it. We offer re-plating at a fair price. 

SOLID GOLD
- You can keep your jewelry for showering and bathing.
- To clean the jewelry, use a soft, non-abrasive cloth with a drop of dish soap and rinse with water. 

If the surface changes over time, we will be happy to re-polish your jewelry and  make it shinier or more matt to restore it to its original finish. 

Are you unsure about your ring size? Let us help you find it using the chart above and three different methods.

1. USING AN EXISTING RING THAT FITS YOU PERFECTLY 
Take an existing ring that fits you perfectly, place it on a horizontal surface and measure its inside diameter with a ruler. Once you have the measurement, refer to the "INSIDE DIAMETER" column of the chart above and find the corresponding "LMJ SIZE."  Keep in mind that the ring size can vary by about half a size depending on temperature, hydration levels, hormones, etc. In case you are between two sizes, we recommend choosing  the largest one. 

2. USING THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF YOUR FINGER
If you do not have a ring of the desired size, you need to measure the diameter of your finger. To do this, cut a thin strip of paper and wrap it around the base of your finger like a ring. Mark the paper at the point where it completes a circle. Use a ruler to measure the length of the strip of paper to the mark made. Refer to the "FINGER CIRCUMFERENCE" column in the chart above to find the corresponding LMJ size. 

3. USING A SIZE FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY
If you know your size in the UK or EU sizing, refer to the "EU SIZE" or "UK SIZE" columns in the chart above to find the corresponding LMJ size. You can also use this website to find other classification tables.

Please note the following concerning costs and delivery time:·       
• We will do our best to make sure your new purchase comes at your door quickly, but please understand we cannot be held responsible for external factors which may delay or prevent a delivery.  
• Shipments to outside of Switzerland may be liable for customs taxes and additional fees. As we are a small business, unfortunately these costs will be the responsibility of the buyer and may also increase delivery times. We unfortunately cannot be held liable for these costs and delays.

TRACKING
As soon as an order is dispatched, a confirmation email is sent, from which the customer can track their order. During peak seasons), courier companies may experience a slight delay in delivery.

In the unlikely event that you wish to exchange or return your purchase, we have a 10 business day return policy, which means you have 10 business days after receiving your item to request a return or exchange.

Returns are only accepted in all the following assumptions, whenever it is not related to a personalized item:
– The customer wishes to change their ring size (an alternative size will be reshipped).
– The product is not what the customer expected.
– The customer received the order in poor conditions.

It is essential that the products are returned are in perfect condition, without any obvious signs of use and in its original packaging. If not, no return may be accepted. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot not accept returns for gift cards and made to order pieces.

HOW TO RETURN A PURCHASE?
It's easy! Follow these steps: 

1. Contact us by email at info@lauramichelijewerly.com mentioning the REASON of the return and your ORDER NUMBER. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. We will send you a confirmation of aknowledgement within 48 - 72 hours.

2. Return your piece through one of these options:
A) Bring the parcel to our atelier in Zurich (address below). It will be necessary to first book an appointment by contacting us at info@lauramichelijewelry.com.

B) Send the package by registered post (the shipping costs are at the customer's own expense) to our atelier in Zurich (address below). All risk will remain with the customer until goods are delivered.

3. Refund: We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, in cases where a refund was agreed, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days,. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Returns outside of Switzerland may be subject to duties and taxes. Please note that package must arrive to our atelier with duties and taxes already paid otherwise, it may be the case we will require the goods to be returned to the sender and the return request refused.

DAMAGES AND ISSUES
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
